30 Minutes or Less is exactly the kind of project Full Circle loves to make room for: bold new writing, Calgary artists, and stories that can make you laugh, squirm, think, and maybe question whether you should ever read your own reviews.

Our first collaboration with AJ Pearce began at the Calgary Region One Act Play Festival, where Lady Jane Waiting introduced us to his sharp, curious, deeply human storytelling . It also earned fan favourite, Ciorstaidh Reid, an Outstanding Performance award along the way! But like many good Full Circle things, the relationship really grew somewhere between volunteering, theatre chat, artistic struggle, artistic joy, and a few well-timed bevvies.

We first met AJ when he volunteered with Porcelain Dolls, and quickly discovered a shared love of scrappy theatre, big ideas, and making something meaningful with whatever time, space, and resources you have. 30 Minutes or Less felt like a natural next step: three compact stories, each with its own little spark, brought together in one intimate evening.

At Full Circle, we’re always excited to support local playwrights, emerging collaborations, and artists who are brave enough to follow an idea all the way to the stage. 30 Minutes or Less is a celebration of short-form theatre, creative friendship, and the beautifully unpredictable things that happen when artists say, “Okay, but what if we tried?”
